Manage a team of 6 with 3 direct reports to create and implement HR strategy. Will report directly to top HR executive and act as intermediary to the entire HR team. Will build strong relationships with business leaders and HR team to advise on all aspects of HR including talent management, performance management, compensation, and employee relations. Identify training needs for client groups and individual executive coaching needs. Partner with Talent Development team to implement training solutions. Provide day-to-day employee relations and performance guidance to managers (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions). Partner with business leaders to forecast and plan their talent pipeline. Work with compensation and third party recruiters to hire senior level talent including Partners and MDs. Promote diversity, equity and inclusion goals across programs. Provide guidance and input on restructurings, workforce planning and succession planning. Lead HRBP team with all recruiting, counseling and coaching.
BA/BS required. Must have a minimum of 15 years of HRBP experience with at least 5 managing others. Comprehensive knowledge of HR discipline including HR-related laws and regulations. Must have experience in financial services, ideally in investment banking. Must be a strategic thinker with a roll-up your sleeves attitude. Must have had exposure to all HR areas. Must have strong analytical skills being able to leverage data to support decision making and to develop solutions. Must be proficient in Excel, PowerPoint as well as HRIS programs.
