Operations Assistant

Summary

Boutique hedge fund is seeking an Operations Assistant to support facilitating all financial transaction processes. This will entail gathering financial information, verifying vendors, preparing instruction letters, preparing wire documents, preparing signature documents, and other documentation preparation as needed all while following protocols and ensuring compliance. Will also provide back up administrative support including handling calendar and meeting management and covering the main phone line.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must have a college degree plus 2+ years of relevant administrative experience at a hedge fund or family office. Must have a strong attention to detail, great organizational skills, strong document management skills, an ability to follow protocols and instructions for compliance. Strong technical skills are required. In particular, must be well versed in Excel. QuickBooks is a plus. Must have strong communication skills, both written and oral. Must be a team player who has proven success in a fast paced environment and a willingness to take on any responsibilities presented.
