Office Manager/Administrative Assistant

Salary: $60-65K
Locations: NYC - Midtown

Summary

US office of large international law firm seeks an office manager/assistant to support the small team of lawyers in NYC. Will handle phones, calendar management, meeting planning and preparation, order supplies and manage vendor communication. Will arrange travel, create itineraries and process expense reports. Will manage office technology and arrange for upgrades and repairs. Will process payments for utilities and manage offices expenses including petty cash. Will maintain bookkeeping systems through monthly financial reporting and work closely with outside accountants to pay all state and federal taxes. Will assist with marketing duties including event planning and materials preparation.

Qualifications

BA/BS required. Must have 2+ years of relevant administrative/office support or client service experience in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work independently and at times, be the only person in the NY office. Must have strong capabilities in Excel and have a strong numbers aptitude. Must be willing and interested in learning new software programs. Must be able to independently manage and prioritize various long term projects. Fluency in French language a plus.
