Summary
Top Financial Services firm is seeking a Learning & Development Associate to serve as a key contributor to the N. America Human Resources team along with the Global Learning and Development Team. The Associate with partner closely with the HRBPs to ensure fit for purpose, impactful learning, development and training across N. America within the framework of global strategy. Will be responsible for executing strategy, plan, design, organization and delivery of learning and development opportunities to address a wide variety of need across all businesses and levels. Assess needs through employee surveys, interviews, focus groups and communication with managers, regional and global HR teams. Source, build and manage relationships with vendors and manage the budget to be cost effective/value add. Coordinate/set up trainings and attend trainings/events in NY and other regional offices. Evaluate program effectiveness through assessments, surveys and feedback ensuring proper record keeping and attendance. Maintain knowledge of the latest trends in training and development.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree with 4-6 years of corporate experience in a Learning and Development capacity within finance or professional services. Should be organized, be able to multi-task, have strong attention to detail and ability to work within tight time frames. Willingness to roll up sleeves and work as part of a team or individually. Should have excellent communication skills to communicate effectively at all levels, strong Microsoft Office skills with emphasis on Excel and presentations skills. Workday experience a plus.
