HR Associate

Summary

Top notch boutique asset management firm is seeking an HR Associate to join the lean HR team. The HR Associate will be responsible for the administrative/coordinator components of Benefits including being the first point of contact for employees, working directly with provider and/or insurance broker to get questions answered, maintaining benefits compliance calendar and ensuring deadlines are met, conducting benefits analysis, HR Generalist projects, and handling logistics for recruiting (posting roles, scheduling candidates, tracking in ATS), working with HR and hiring managers on job descriptions and recruiting strategy, gathering feedback, creating and running associated reports, and managing the summer internship program. Coordinate onboarding paperwork and orientations for new hires.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must have a college degree plus 2+ years of relevant HR support experience, preferably in financial services. Benefits and/or compensation experience is preferred. Must have strong analytical and technical skills (including V-Lookups and pivot tables in Excel), be extremely detail oriented and a strong team player. Strong written and verbal communication skills required. Must have a proven track record of success in a fast paced, high volume environment.
