Events Manager/Executive Assistant

Summary

Boutique energy based investment firm is seeking an Events Manager EA to support the CEO and coordinate/manage company wide events. Events manager duties include managing all company wide events full-cycle, from small dinners to 500 person annual meetings. Ability to think creatively and produce new unique ways to execute events. Organize the guest lists, invitations and RSVP’s, book restaurants and event spaces, order gifts and manage the budget for events. EA duties include managing the CEO’s professional and personal calendar, coordinating travel and acting as main point person for the CEO. Prepare for meetings including meeting notes and PPT slides.

Qualifications

The idea candidate would have a bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of event management and EA experience, financial services experience preferred. High level of organization skills with strong attention to detail, ability to think strategically, and adapt while planning multiple events at once. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and strong technical skills, MS Office. Experience using Cvent is a plus.
