Prestigious non-profit is seeking an assistant to join their grants team. Responsibilities will include phone coverage, calendar management, database management, arranging travel and processing expenses, coordinating projects related to philanthropic company events, and ad hoc projects as needed. Organize and maintain files including paper, electronic, and within the grants management database. Serve as the primary point of contact for all vendors and invoices. Coordinate payment of expenses with the controller. Role is in office 5 days with a great work/life balance of 9-5 with an hour for lunch. Room for growth on the team!
The ideal candidate must have a college degree plus 2-3 years of administrative support experience with a passion for mission driven causes. Must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Must have strong technical skills and an ability to learn new software easily. Experience using databases is required. Must have a strong attention to detail, great multi-tasking skills, be a strong team player, and be willing to support the department at all levels.
