Administrative Assistant

Summary

Top tier hedge fund is seeking an administrative assistant to support an investment team on the trading floor. Responsibilities will include heavy phone coverage and calendar management, database maintenance, contact management, video and conference call arrangements, travel and expenses, tracking departmental information, information gathering for team dissemination, and additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must have a college degree plus a minimum of three years of relevant support experience. Financial services experience is required. Must have strong technical skills (Word, Excel and PPT), have strong written and verbal communication skills and be a true team player. Must have a strong ability to anticipate needs of the team, have the confidence to be proactive, and be a real go-getter. Must excel in a fast paced environment. Must have strong multi-tasking skills, too.
