SummaryTop NYC Venture Capital firm needs a hospitality/receptionist/conference center coordinator. Greet guests and escort them to conference rooms. Maintain main reception desk; answer external and internal phone lines. Set conference rooms with beverage trays and food service and then clean rooms after meetings, which involves lifting trays and pushing carts with set-up items. Coordinate meeting calendars and meeting bookings. Ensure reception area and conference rooms are clean and tidy. Maintain Conference Center kitchens; keeping counters and floors tidy, washing dishes, and storing service items. Must work quickly under pressure while maintaining a warm, friendly, and professional appearance.
QualificationsBA/BS degree a plus. Prior experience in customer service (for example: hotel concierge or flight attendant). Prior experience in reception a plus. Ability to lift trays that may weigh up to 15 pounds. Must have strong technical skills (MS Office Suite), be detail oriented, have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and be very organized.
