Global hedge fund is seeking an HR Coordinator to work closely with the HR Manager to provide tactical HR coverage for the boutique NY office. Responsibilities will include: management of employee information/paperwork, recruiting coordination, meeting planning and coordination, new hire processing/onboarding, assist with benefits administration, assist with payroll administration, and ad hoc projects as needed.
The ideal candidate must have a college degree plus 2-4 years of relevant experience in HR or payroll. Financial services industry experience preferred. Must be fast-paced, strong team player, high level of discretion, and have great communication skills both written and verbal. Must be detail oriented and have strong decision making skills. Strong tech skills required. An interest in, and basic knowledge of, Human Resources is required.
