Manage a team of 50 administrative professionals to ensure that standards of excellence are developed and communicated against which they are held accountable. Review staffing, headcount and overtime to confirm workload levels are maintained. Develop and deliver team building events to foster positive relationships among the team. Manage the annual performance evaluation process. Partner with HR business partners to provide ongoing performance feedback. Partner with other administrative managers to prioritize and implement efficiency. Work to process quality, training and communication where needed, as well as to facilitate rollouts of new programs to the administrative staff. Partner with recruiting and identify candidates for newly created or vacated administrative positions.
Completed BA/BS degree required. Must have at least 10 years of business experience in a role with significant people management, preferably in an environment with coverage needs. Must have at least 3 years in a similar role. Experience in financial services industry is preferred. Prior experience in a Human Resources department is a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite – particularly Outlook, Excel & PowerPoint. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
