Summary

Dynamic biotech company is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide support to the IT management team. Proactively schedule meetings/conferences and set up VCs, internal/external calls, manage calendars for designated team members, coordinate domestic/international travel/expenses (Using Concur), arrange catering for lunches/meetings, create and manage PO’s, general admin tasks and ad-hoc projects as needed. Provide occasional back-up support to the CIO’s Executive Assistant – this includes scheduling, calendar management, booking travel, reserving conference rooms, OOO coverage.

 

Qualifications

BA/BS degree required. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years of administrative support experience supporting senior level executives or a team of professionals, preferably including some support experience in start-up, pharma/biotech or financial services preferred. Must be a strong team player, assertive, detail oriented, proactive and have a strong ability to multi-task and take ownership of processes. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change. Must be an independent worker with the ability to follow direction and the flexibility to change direction when needed. Solid technical skills required. Experience with Greenhouse and Concur a plus. Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ever changing/shifting tasks and priorities.
