Susan is the co-founder of Miller Klein Group. Building on her diverse experience in business, including HR recruitment at a top investment bank, Susan has amassed a strong roster of clients that rely on her to fill human resources and administrative support roles in their companies. She knows how to find great talent and skillfully assesses their capabilities and compatibility for prospective employers. With unmatched client service skills, Susan consistently builds our open job roster and candidate pool with highly praised referrals.
Susan started her career at Lord & Taylor in an executive training program for buyers. She went on to work in media at the Radio Advertising Bureau and then joined Bankers Trust where she first gained considerable experience as an HR generalist and then became a dedicated recruiter. Susan moved to the agency side of HR almost 20 years ago and hasn’t looked back. She loves finding great talent for top- notch companies and is thrilled to make those matches day in and day out.
Susan graduated SUNY Albany with a BA in Communications and later earned her MA in Organizational Psychology from Teachers College at Columbia University. Lesley and Susan started MKG in 2009, with the shared conviction that people always need people, even during a recession. They are proud of their firm’s ongoing growth and emergence as a leader in HR and admin recruitment in the NY metropolitan area.
When not working, Susan enjoys spending time with her husband, three children, poodle, and huge extended family. Whenever possible, she listens to great biographies on Audible and rides the Peloton bike in her basement, often at the same time.

Lesley Shorr Klein
Lesley is the co-founder of Miller Klein Group. As a highly regarded recruitment professional, Lesley co-leads the Miller Klein Group team to provide high level service to clients and candidates. Lesley has worked diligently with clients to ensure they hire the best talent in the market. She has developed a client roster of top tier firms across numerous industries. In addition, Lesley works closely with candidates to help them land a great new role. Lesley combines her passion for working with clients and candidates to offer a first-class service.
Lesley attended Lehigh University where she studied Psychology with a French minor. She went on to receive her MA in Organizational Psychology from Teachers College at Columbia University. Prior to starting her own recruiting firm, Lesley’s career grew from Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partner to Head of Human Resources. Lesley and Susan joined forces in 2009 forming the Miller Klein Group, and they haven’t slowed down since!
In her free time, Lesley loves spending time with her two sons, extended family and friends, working out, reading a great novel, and binge-watching Netflix. Otherwise, you can catch her at the ballpark catching her sons’ baseball games.

Lauren joined Miller Klein Group in 2011, based on a strong instinct that recruiting would be a natural and seamless fit. She uses that same instinct in sourcing and matching great candidates with MKG’s top-tier clients. Lauren leverages her outgoing personality and communication skills to establish and maintain relationships. In addition to finding quality candidates, she has developed a strong and diverse client base which includes financial services, technology, consulting, and non-profits. Lauren has led presentations for college students and recent graduates on interviewing and resume writing, and she also volunteers with various career service initiatives throughout the city.
She earned her BA from the University of Maryland following family legacy. Outside of work, Lauren is a fitness enthusiast running nearly every day and enjoys competing in various races. She’s proud to be the “go-to source” for restaurant recommendations, loves spending time with friends, and traveling to beautiful sunny destinations.

Liz joined the MKG team in 2014 bringing a strong recruiting background and a great sense of humor, making her a perfect fit! She spent 10 years in talent acquisition within the retail sector, working for Pivotal Search Group, a division of the Haley Stuart Group. She recruited C-level executives for top clients on a national scale, on both contingent and retained searches. Liz’s keen ability to source and identify qualified candidates for very specific searches contributed to her success at Pivotal and propelled her to a seamless transition in the Admin and HR space. Liz has also cultivated strong client relationships in the financial services and biotech industries. Her warm and approachable demeanor is one of her best qualities. She holds a BA in Psychology/Business from Ithaca College.
In addition to being a great Recruiter, Liz is the most fashion-forward team member at MKG. She has styled her colleagues and has amazing taste. In her free time, Liz enjoys barre class and socializing with friends. She also appreciates time spent with her husband, 3 great sons, and an energetic new puppy named Zeus.

Dominique joined Miller Klein Group in 2018. With experience in retail, marketing and non-profit sectors, she uses her diverse background to find great candidates for our clients. She has interned at the Broom County Promise Zone, a school-model program, providing administrative support to the mentors and the Community Schools Coordinator of the Windsor school district. While an intern and student, Dominique was also a Social Media Coordinator for a local student-run business. She has extensive experience in the retail sector, working with many commercially popular brands including Sunglass Hut and BCBGMAXAZRIA. These roles gave Dominique the opportunity to refine her skills in client service, research and technology.
Dominique earned her BS in Human Development from Binghamton University. After work you can find Dominique cozied up with a good book or painting while binge watching Law and Order: SVU.

Ginna joined Miller Klein Group in 2018. She is a recent graduate of Towson University with a BS in Psychology. For the summers of 2017 and 2018, she was the Assistant Director of a day camp in Breezy Point where she oversaw operations for over 15 groups. This role allowed Ginna to further develop her communication and organizational skills while working in a fast-paced environment. She also recently worked as a consultant for Rodan + Fields, a marketing company that specializes in skincare. While working to sell new products and expand her sales team, Ginna increased her interpersonal skills. In addition, she served as the Social Media Director for her sorority in college, where she gained experience in managing different networking platforms. As a new recruiter, Ginna is excited to hit the ground running.
Ginna lives on the beach in Rockaway Park which is where you’ll find her whether it’s summer or winter. During her free time, she enjoys hanging out with family and friends, cooking, working out, and binge watching her favorite Netflix show, New Girl.

Sydnie joined Miller Klein Group in 2018. Her most recent work experiences include e-commerce, marketing, sales and childcare. Sydnie’s background in sales and marketing has helped in her success at two high-end boutiques in Huntington, New York. She helped with social media, advertising and sales. Prior to that, Sydnie interned at Grey State Apparel in NYC. While working towards her degree, she worked for Designer Leatherworks, an online company. She created budgets, business plans, marketing strategies and helped the company’s growth through social media. She also helped to redesign their website and was in charge of customer acquisitions and tracking the customer base. These endeavors have enabled Sydnie to build upon her skills in marketing, sales and customer relationship management. Sydnie is a proud recent graduate of High Point University. She holds a BS in Business Administration with minors in Marketing and Accounting.
Sydnie has a love of fashion and decor. In her spare time, she is playing with her two dogs or deciding where to travel to next. She also enjoys playing the piano and flute. Sydnie enjoys staying active and hanging out with friends and family as well as binge-watching Netflix.
